Mely Forever - Teaser

After his sister Mely was murdered by LAPD in 2018, Albert Corado became a community organizer and vocal advocate for victims of police violence. In 2021 Albert decided to take his fight for justice to city hall by running for City Council. He ran the first abolitionist campaign LA has ever seen, aiming to avenge his sister's death by defunding and dismantling the policing system.

"Blessing" follows Najat's lifelong journey to find independence. Growing up in a wheelchair she was always looked down upon by society and her family. After the passing of her mother, she decided to take control of her life when she was hired by the social enterprise Al Nour.
