Hadley Hendon

Hey! I’m Hadley, a lefty born and raised in West Hollywood, CA, now living in Brooklyn, NYC. I’m a passionate and dynamic multi-media director and producer, dedicated to creating media that sparks social change.

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Sciences and went on to earn a master’s degree in Public Media from Fordham University. My storytelling journey began with my first short documentary, which premiered at a film festival in Bonn, Germany, in 2015. Since then, I’ve directed Blessing, a documentary filmed in Marrakesh, Morocco, which has been featured at several film festivals, including the United Nations Convention for Peoples with Disabilities. In 2023, I completed my longest documentary to date, Mely Forever, which is currently making its way through the film festival circuit.

Beyond my documentary work, I’ve had the opportunity to produce innovative content for companies like Decoded Advertising and Esports Engine, where I led production teams, crafted content strategies, and brought impactful projects to life. Currently, I work at Gnarly Bay as a Post Production Producer.

In my free time, I enjoy long walks and camping trips with my 3-year-old rescue dog, Billie. I’m also an avid crocheter, always working on a new project. On the side, my boyfriend and I run a Super 8 wedding videography business, which keeps me creatively inspired and connected to my love of filmmaking.

At my core, I believe media has the power to transform society, and I’m committed to telling stories that inspire action and drive meaningful change.
